Wow Wow Target

I've recently purchased Zoe "Zoella" Sugg's novel Girl Online and got really inspired to just carry my camera around in my bag everywhere, so when a moment for a photo presents itself, my camera is on me. My fiancée and I went on a little adventure this day and I snapped some photos to share with you all.
I decided to go with a striped shift dress and black Chuck Taylor's for comfort. We did do a lot of walking and this outfit was definitely a smart decision.
I'm not sure if you all know, but I live on the island of O'ahu, Hawaii. We headed up to Wahiawa to get some awesome locally made lemonade. Wow Wow Lemonade is a handcrafted Hawaiian lemonade stand who has a store located in Wahiawa, but also located in various Farmers Markets.
I decided to get my favorite drink: Strawberry Li Hing Lemonade. They provide a custom mason jar that you can keep and bring in every time you go in to purchase. I absolutely love the idea and you can never go wrong with drinking lemonade out of a mason jar. :)
Afterwards, walking out of Kapolei Target, I saw this amazing wall completely covered in vines. I couldn't resist myself from taking a picture in front of it, it reminded me that spring is just around the corner :)
Ended the day with Genki Sushi for dinner and Menchie's Yogurt for dessert. Overall, it was an amazing and nostalgic night. A lot of these places my fiancée and I went on for little dates during our first couple months of dating :)
Snapped this artsy photo and it turned out pretty cool :p

I'm going to be doing a lot more post like these because I love being able to show a little bit of this island to you all and I can get really creative with my shots. Fashion and beauty post are still going to be around, but adventures are always fun to blog about :) See you in the next one, xoxo

The Essential Brush Set by Love & Beauty

I've recently went into Forever 21 to do a little bit of shopping, since I still have a lot more on my gift card. One of the items in my purchase was this brush set. Nothing is wrong with having a few more brushes in your collection, so I picked these up. What really drew me to them is the gold hardware, now if it were rose gold... I would of probably bought all that were on the stand :p
The set comes with a powder brush, concealer brush, shader brush, lip brush, and angled brush. The handle of the brush is black all the way down and it actually comes to a point (I apologize that I didn't picture it).
All together, the brushes are packed away in this slick, black clutch with gold hardware to match with the brushes. It's a perfect size to just chuck in your bag, or even carry-on if you're traveling. I'm very happy with this purchase and it applies my make up exceptionally.
Let me know in the comment section below what you think of this post or what you want to see me post next, xoxo

Active Shopping Haul

You all know that I have been on a fitness journey since the beginning of 2014 and I thought, since its the new year, new fitness gear is in order. Especially since I have lost a lot of weight, a few of my clothing items don't fit me very well. As you can see, I was drawn towards color, instead of the usual black and white I tend to purchase. My favorite purchase in this haul, and most definitely a splurge would be the tribal printed sports bra from Victoria Secret. I'm one who doesn't care what color/print my sports bra is, but I couldn't help but just have this bra :)
If you want to know where I got these items, everything will be listed down below. Everything was affordable and extremely cute. Comment below which one you liked, xo

Outfit of the Day: Mother-Daugther Day Off

I finally had a chance to spend some time with my mom on my day off. We did a bit of shopping around the mall and I thought I would share with you all the outfit I decided to wear this day. As you all know, or don't, I live on Hawaii. This outfit would be a typical fall day. I went with a tradition red flannel, a pair of shorts, slip on Toms, and my new Kate Spade bag. It's cute, comfortable, and casual. Especially for a day out with your best friend, your mom :)
I hope you enjoyed this post and see you all in the next one, xoxo

October Favorites | Jasmine Mae

Here are a few of my favorite things I was obsessing over in the month of October.

Epielle Green Tea & Aloe Facial Mask ($1.99): Since the season is getting a bit more chilly, my skin is getting a lot more dry. The purpose of this mask is to detoxify and sooth my skin. You leave the mask on your face for about 20-30 minutes and your skin will definitely feel fresh, clean, and most importantly hydrating.

NYC Nail Varnish in Fashion Safari ($1.79): This is by far the perfect nude nail varnish. It is a perfect everyday color and it looks great on my nails. It elongated my finger/fingernails and complements my skin tone perfectly.

Rimmel Ultra Shine Top Coat($4.99): To top off my NYC nail varnish, this top coat dries very quickly and definitely helps prolong the life of the nail varnish on my finger nails. It is perfect, affordable, and definitely gonna be another purchase when I run out.

DW Home Candle in Coconut Verbena ($6.99): This is the perfect scented candle to those who are not ready for Summer to leave. Its rich aroma of coconut quickly fills the room, leaving you feeling like summer is still around; Even on a rainy day.

Rimmel Lip Liner in Epic ($4.55): My go to lip color is definitely this matte mauve lip liner. It compliments all my looks and it surely makes me feel like Kylie Jenner.

Maybelline 'The Nude' Pallet ($9.98): Must I say anything!? This is an amazing pallet. All the shades are a great pick and the price is very affordable. To those who want the Urban Decay Nude pallet, but cant seem to purchase it because of the price. This is a great alternative.

Seventeen Magazine October Youtube Issue ($2.99): I immediately rushed to the drugstore to purchase this magazine because a few of my favorite Youtubers were featured. I couldn't be anymore happier for them :) What a perfect way to get their name out to the world.

I hope you enjoyed my October favorites, even though I'm a bit late posting this up. I hope any of these items spark your interest and you try them out. See you in the next post, xoxo

Outfit of the Day: Tribal Acid

I've worn this outfit recently and I am in LOVE with it. The color pallet of this outfit is definitely perfect and I loved how every piece went well together. I actually centered this outfit around my acid wash shorts from Forever 21. I wanted to make an outfit Fall related yet in coordination with the Hawaii weather. I decided to use a tribal print crop top and tied a light blue flannel around my waist for an additional layering piece to the outfit, but also a quick way to add warmth in case it did get a bit chilly throughout the day. I decided to throw on a pair of classic chuck taylor to keep the outfit casual and l used some gold and black accessories.
I felt very good in this outfit and I hope you beauties enjoyed it. See you in the next one and let me know in the comments below what you think, xoxo
