To the fashionable Night Owls!

I’ve always been insecure. Always doubting my fashion sense. Telling myself to stay within my comfort zone. I’m so happy that I’ve built up my confidence. I may have my days, but most of the time I step into the world proud of the way I dress, the way I look, and the way I feel. I was never the type to wear make up, use a crop top, wear heals, or spent hours on my long mane. Now, I love these things. I don’t do them to mask my insecurities, but to rid them forever. I finally know what I’m doing. I feel fashionable and pretty. I will always remember to embrace my natural self and all the flaws I’ve been born with, but fashion, makeup, and hairspray will never be my cover up. They will be my screams of confidence :)

Love always, Jasmine Mae XOXO

Workflow Outfit #9: Romper in the Fall!?

Yes, a romper [from my Maui haul, link below] in the winter. I'm from Hawaii and the lowest it gets here in my city is 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Not much compared to other states but I totally take advantage of the weather and layer up. Today was a pretty warm winter day and I decided to wear a romper to work. To make it more winter appropriate I threw on this tribal print vest. I synched it at the waist with a skinny brown belt to give me more shape. Finishing off the outfit, I threw on a gold chain necklace and nude crochet ballet flats for comfort.
I hope you enjoyed another workflow outfit, more is coming your way :)

Workflow Outfit #8: Cheetah Print

Did some Christmas shopping the other day with my mom and saw this cheetah print circle skirt in TJ Maxx. I couldn't resist and I bought it for myself :) I wore it yesterday to work and got some compliments from my coworkers and customers as well. Of course, when it comes to circle skirts, you know I had to pair it with a crop top. I finished off the outfit with some solid black Toms look-a-likes.
I hope you enjoyed another Workflow Outfit post and stay tuned for more. More information down below.

Thanksgiving Outfit 2013

Here is my late outfit post that I wore for this past Thanksgiving Holiday and Black Friday Weekend. I had to work on Black Friday and this was practically the same thing I wore to work since our color theme was black, burgundy, and gold. I decided to wear this black crop top with a rich burgundy circle skirt. I wanted to be comfortable and stuck with some simple, cute sandals. I threw on some gold accessories and a bold lip. Finally, I curled my hair with my NuMe 25MM barrel curler. All information is down below. Sorry I'm a tad bit late on my Thanksgiving outfit post, but I hope you still enjoyed.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!

Workflow Outfit #7: Warm Tribal

I found this tribal vest in Ross and instantly fell in love with it, I had to get it. Being from Hawaii, heavy knits can get a bit uncomfortable because of the heat. I thought if I bought this vest I'd get the same style of those heavy woven cardigans coming back into style this fall season, and yes I did matter of fact. I decided to make the vest the focus of my outfit, so I decided to use a plain black tank underneath. I threw on these distressed skinny jeans with it as well. I rolled up the ends and use these simple flats to give me the more casual feel to my outfit.
I hope you enjoyed another Workflow Outfit and stay tuned for more :)

Outfit of the Day: Floral Crop Top

Here's an outfit that I wore to a birthday party. I haven't wore these high waisted shorts for about a year now because I knew I wouldn't be able to fit them anymore. But I decided to take a chance to try them on, since I have been trying to lose weight, and they fit me great :) They actually fit a little more lose than they use to, but I still love them. You might remember these shorts from my earlier post [Link down below] on my blog. Of course, I've grown to love crop tops recently, so I paired these shorts with a cute sleeveless, floral crop top. Finishing it off with an olive, military style, half sleeve layering jacket. I love that fall has got me using more earthy tones in my outfits :)
I hope you enjoyed yet another outfit of the day post. I hope you enjoyed and stay tune for more upcoming fashion post. Mahalo (Hawaiian for 'Thank You')

Workflow Outfit #6: Crop Circle

I got this circle skirt when I was up in Texas for a little vacation [Texas Accessory Haul down below], and this was the first time I got to wear it. I love how it drapes on my body nicely. It compliments my body, rather than make my hips and bum look bigger than it really is. This is also the first time I wore my t-shirt crop top. I haven't felt comfortable in a crop top, ever, but since the weightloss.. I feel a little better in my skin :)
I apologize for the lack of outfit post on my blog. Life is just crazy and I'm sure all you Fashionista's know what I mean. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed my outfit and I have future outfit posts under my draft section, so stay tuned for more :)

Workflow Outfit #4: Howling Maxi

I had school and work the day I wore this outfit. What a struggle because this was the day I decided to buy my books for school. What a mistake! They were soo heavy and it was a hot day. So I had to keep my skirt clean and try to look a bit decent before I headed in to work :p Everything was fine in the end :p The last time you ladies saw this striped maxi skirt, it was in my Mother's Day OOTD. After taking this photo, I really noticed how much weight I lost. The skirt didn't look weird on me anymore and I felt more comfortable in it as well. I'm so proud of myself, but I'm still pushing :)
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed this outfit post. As usual, the details are down below and see you ladies next time :)

Texas Trip: Accessories Haul

During my Texas trip, I hardly did any shopping on clothes, but I did, however, did a good amount of accessory shopping. I went to various stores but only really shopped at one mall, The NorthPark Center.
One trend that I really wanted to join in on is Wallet cases for iPhones. My friend who was on the trip as well, bought one at Pacsun and I was in love with it. So, that day I ended up buying the same exact case; not like they had many choices anyways. Other stores that I visited were Forever 21, American Eagele, Urban Outfitters, and H&M.It was actually my very first time in an UO and H&M. I was absolutely culture shocked by the different styles they provide in their store. Being from Hawaii, the style is very minimal. We don't get season changes and the temperatures rarely change.
I loved shopping on the Mainland. It was different and very exciting for me. Anyhow, I hope you enjoyed this post and my small clothing haul from my Texas Trip will be up later in the week. Details are down below, Thank you :)

Texas Trip: Shopping/Movie Day Outfit

It was my third day in Texas and Nicole and I headed out to North Park Center to have a shopping / movie date. I decided to dress comfortably and monotoned... well since I used up all my colorful clothes :p The backing of my top is actually a bit sheer and it has tiny skulls around it as well. My shorts are more of stretchy / cotton like material. It's often mistaken as tribal print, but its actually more of an organized tie die look.
I'm sorry that my post have been slow lately, I've got school and work going on right now. I still hope you enjoy this post and the rest of my blog. Outfit details are down below and a lot more outfits coming soon.

Texas Trip: Six Flags Outfit

First full day on my Texas Trip was Six Flags. A whole day of riding all the rides, eating turkey legs, screaming, and winning prizes. I knew that this day was going to be very hot so I decided to wear more of a free outfit. An outfit I would feel most comfortable in the heat and when I go on rides. I thought that a low side cut with a bandeau would be most appropriate with the summer heat. The only thing I didn't really like about my outfit was after a while, the sides or the strap of the tank would get stretched out from my bag or during the rides. So, over time it looked a little awkward on me, but I made it work :)
I hope you enjoyed this outfit post and details are down below. More outfit posts and hauls are coming your way, stay tuned :)

School Flow Outfit #1: Stripes

Is it just me or does anyone else hate the way high waisted shorts bunch up around our private area >_< It's such an awkward thing, lol :P. Anyways, heres an outfit I wore on the second day of college. Nothing extravagant, but a cute and simple outfit. These shorts actually use to fit me at the hips, when I was a little more bigger. Since my weight loss, they've become high waisted shorts on me. I don't mind because they look great now ^_^ I paired these beige shorts with this razor back tank top and tucked in my shorts. I mentioned my weight loss, so I had to throw on a belt to keep my shorts from falling off >_<
I forgot to mention, I got a hair cut as well. I now have some side swept bangs. Last time I had bangs was a year and a half ago :P I decided I wanted a change before I headed up to Texas (Texas vlog and haul coming soon) and before the school year started. I kept the length of my hair, but I did trim the dead ends off to look more healthy.
Anyhow, I hope you fashionistas enjoyed and liked my outfit. Heres another outfit flow serious, so look out for more coming soon.

Workflow Outfit #3: Romper Rush

I got a last minute call in to work and I had to get there ASAP. When that's the case, a romper is the outfit to go with. A simple one piece, with a layering piece, and cute sandals is easy and quick to put together. Actually, my job doesn't allow shorts to be worn at work, so this romper was a great loop hole :P teehee! I actually got this romper from my trip to Maui earlier this year and I couldn't quite fit it right because I was... fat. But I've been on this weight loss journey for the past 3 months now and I've lost enough weight to finally fit this romper better :) I was really happy that morning :)
I really liked this outfit, do you? Let me know. The outfit details are down below and I hope you enjoyed yet another Workflow Outfit :)

Workflow Outfit #2: Holy Moly, Crosses!

Another Workflow Outfit :) I got the top as a gift for my birthday that just pasted recently. I have the same one in black and white. My mom couldn't pick between the two, so she got me both :p I love how this top falls on my body and how it's styled. It's cute and despite the amount of Crosses on it, which doesn't bother me, I love it.

Workflow Outfit #1: Blue Tribal

I started working and that would explain my lack of post on my blog. I apologize for being so MIA and with school starting soon, I apologize in advance if the post become more scarce. However, here is an outfit that I really liked that I used to work one day. I didn't realize how much blue I had on, but I guess that was the theme of the outfit.
I actually got this tribal tube top from a boutique online, but the owner did list that she got it from Jeans Warehouse. I love how it has a Native American / Aztec-y feel. I thought a denim vest would make it much more edgy and just tie the bronze studs to the feather on my top.
It was a weekend, so I knew work was going to be busy and that is why I went with comfortable bottoms and footwear. I hope you enjoyed this outfit post and let me know what you think :)

Maybelline Clean Express Make Up Remover Review

I know this is an over due post, but I've finally got the time to post it up on to my blog. In my recent drug store haul, I purchased this Maybelline Clean Express make up remover. I thought, maybe it would be efficient enough to get my eye make up off. Direction on the bottle instructs you to shake the bottle before use. I have used it with a cotton ball and I didn't like that fact that cotton fibers were being left behind on my lashes. I then tried it with cotton rounds and I liked it much better.

I used this make up remover for a week and although it did its job, I didn't like the oiliness it left on my eyes. I have oily to dry skin and I just didn't like that I was adding more oils to my face.
Also, when using this product, you must rinse it off right after, as directed on the bottle. I like a make up remover I can just use, then use my cleansing toner and moisturize on days I just can't do my whole bed time routine.

Overall, the product does its job and the quality is good. But I did not like the oiliness it leaves behind and the fact that I still have to rinse off my face. Worth the price and highly recommended to those who dry skin. I think I'll continue to use it but make up wipes are still my go to make up remover.

Drug Store Make Up Haul #2

I went to my local drug store recently and did a little shopping. I've been watching a lot of Drug Store Favorites on Youtube and it made me really want to buy a few items.

First off, I knew I really needed a new mascara and a new lip balm. Along with that, I also needed a bronzer. I've been using a matte eye shadow as a bronzer, but I decided to purchase a blush from NYX in a brown shade to be my bronzer. I was lucking enough to come on a day that all NYX products are 25% off, score! Lastly, I bought another Milani eyeliner just as a back up. I know that Claire Marshall, from Youtube, constantly buys so she has more in stock in case she runs out unexpectedly. So I decided to buy some because its such an amazing liner.

After the makeup products, I needed a make up remover that can help take off the makeup residue that my make up wipes leave behind. I decided to try the Maybelline Clean Express. [I'll be doing a review later] I also bought a toner from Clean & Clear to end the haul.

If you want me to do a review on any of these items, please comment below and I will do so. I hope you enjoyed and all information is down below.

Floral Casual OOTD (Watch In HD!)

Hey everyone, It's been awhile since I've posted on my blog and I apologize for that. I just recently got accepted into college so I'm sorting that out and I'm out and about doing interviews. But Nicole had a surprise day off and we went out on a date to Roy's Restaurant in Ko Olina. It was an incredible place and the service was great as well.
We got there a little early, so I asked Nicole to flim my outfit. Its been quite a while since I've used a tube top, but this floral top screamed my name when I found it. My outfit is very casual, yet appropriate for a dinner date out :) I hope you enjoy my outfit and don't forget to comment, like, and subscribe to my youtube channel ^_^

Thrifted Finds #2

I did some errands today with my mom and I did some shopping when we had to go to her job. My mom works at Savers and I got a chance to go thrift shopping for a little bit. So lets get real here and admit that we're all humans. With that said, I had to buy a pair of new jeans because I gain some weight in my butt and thighs. Along with that, I bought some new active wear that fit me comfortable. I'm on this journey of weight loss and I'm determined to shed some weight. That is why I only bought 2 pairs of jeans because I'm sure I'll lose some weight during this journey of mines.
In addition to my purchase, I got 50% off each item with my moms employee discount. Scored some deals once again. Anyways, description of my haul will be down below and I hope you enjoyed this post.

April 2013 Haul

This is a very late upload of my haul from about 3 weeks ago. I got everything during that day I filmed my OOTD: Union Jack video. Me and Nicole didn't have our car, so we went on an adventure on the city bus to Pealridge Mall. Stores were having some sales and these are the items I found. However, the black bag in the corner is from Ross near my neighborhood. It is a Elliot Lucca bag that I found in the bag section of Ross. I got it at such an amazing deal. Original price was $168, but I got it at $42.99. SCORE!

Accessories & Beauty Mini Haul

I got a few items here and there last week and I wanted to share with you all. Last week Saturday, we went out to Pearlridge to buy Nicole's brother a birthday present for that night. We walked around Ross and I found the perfect necklace for me. Actually, Nicole spotted it first and I just instantly fell in love with it; a Hamsa necklace. I only got it for $8 and its sterling silver :)
Afterwards we walked around Downtown, Pearlridge and went into Pacsun. The accessories are always on sale (Buy One, Get one 50% off) and I thought I'd get some rings. I've been obsessing over knuckle rings, so I buy rings 2 sizes smaller to act like the same exact thing.
Lastly, this past Monday, we had to bring in the car to the shop for servicing. To kill time we went into a drug store and walked around a little. They had Red Cherry lashes for ONLY $1.99. Of course I couldn't resist myself and got me a pair.
I hope you like my little mini haul and all the information is down below ^_^

I went out to print out photos from Maui at Target with Nicole. She had to use the rest room, so I had some time to look around in the shoe section. I ended up buying a Mossimo Nautical Sandals and I was lucky enough to get the last one in my size. I saw them on one of my friends and told myself I had to get myself a pair.
Anyways, my outfit is really plain and simple but I really liked the simplicity of it that I had to share it with you guys. Outfit information below and I hope you enjoyed my post :)

Classy Casual

I was out for a quick trip to Target with Nicole and decided to dress up a little. The weather was really rainy, but I wanted to dress "spring like". I decided to wear high-waisted shorts and Chuck Taylor's for a casual look for spring. Then threw on a stripped blazer for a more classy look and for warmth as well. It was a quick put together outfit to be in while running some errands.
