Outfit of the Day: Mother-Daugther Day Off

I finally had a chance to spend some time with my mom on my day off. We did a bit of shopping around the mall and I thought I would share with you all the outfit I decided to wear this day. As you all know, or don't, I live on Hawaii. This outfit would be a typical fall day. I went with a tradition red flannel, a pair of shorts, slip on Toms, and my new Kate Spade bag. It's cute, comfortable, and casual. Especially for a day out with your best friend, your mom :)
I hope you enjoyed this post and see you all in the next one, xoxo

October Favorites | Jasmine Mae

Here are a few of my favorite things I was obsessing over in the month of October.

Epielle Green Tea & Aloe Facial Mask ($1.99): Since the season is getting a bit more chilly, my skin is getting a lot more dry. The purpose of this mask is to detoxify and sooth my skin. You leave the mask on your face for about 20-30 minutes and your skin will definitely feel fresh, clean, and most importantly hydrating.

NYC Nail Varnish in Fashion Safari ($1.79): This is by far the perfect nude nail varnish. It is a perfect everyday color and it looks great on my nails. It elongated my finger/fingernails and complements my skin tone perfectly.

Rimmel Ultra Shine Top Coat($4.99): To top off my NYC nail varnish, this top coat dries very quickly and definitely helps prolong the life of the nail varnish on my finger nails. It is perfect, affordable, and definitely gonna be another purchase when I run out.

DW Home Candle in Coconut Verbena ($6.99): This is the perfect scented candle to those who are not ready for Summer to leave. Its rich aroma of coconut quickly fills the room, leaving you feeling like summer is still around; Even on a rainy day.

Rimmel Lip Liner in Epic ($4.55): My go to lip color is definitely this matte mauve lip liner. It compliments all my looks and it surely makes me feel like Kylie Jenner.

Maybelline 'The Nude' Pallet ($9.98): Must I say anything!? This is an amazing pallet. All the shades are a great pick and the price is very affordable. To those who want the Urban Decay Nude pallet, but cant seem to purchase it because of the price. This is a great alternative.

Seventeen Magazine October Youtube Issue ($2.99): I immediately rushed to the drugstore to purchase this magazine because a few of my favorite Youtubers were featured. I couldn't be anymore happier for them :) What a perfect way to get their name out to the world.

I hope you enjoyed my October favorites, even though I'm a bit late posting this up. I hope any of these items spark your interest and you try them out. See you in the next post, xoxo

Outfit of the Day: Tribal Acid

I've worn this outfit recently and I am in LOVE with it. The color pallet of this outfit is definitely perfect and I loved how every piece went well together. I actually centered this outfit around my acid wash shorts from Forever 21. I wanted to make an outfit Fall related yet in coordination with the Hawaii weather. I decided to use a tribal print crop top and tied a light blue flannel around my waist for an additional layering piece to the outfit, but also a quick way to add warmth in case it did get a bit chilly throughout the day. I decided to throw on a pair of classic chuck taylor to keep the outfit casual and l used some gold and black accessories.
I felt very good in this outfit and I hope you beauties enjoyed it. See you in the next one and let me know in the comments below what you think, xoxo

Outfit of the Day: FALL For RED

Here is an outfit that is great for those still transitioning into the fall season. I own almost every color of flannel that is out there, but I always tend to gravitate towards red flannels. Especially for the fall season, red is perfect. In this outfit, I kept it casual; a perfect outfit for shopping or just hanging with some friends. A comfy pair of high waisted shorts, simple white cami, and matching red Chuck Taylors to go along with my button up. I used a nude bag to keep it simple.
I loved this outfit and I hope you did as well. Let me know what you think in the comments below. Otherwise, see you beauties in the next one, xoxo

Work Flow Outfit #18: Dose of Denim

Here's a dose of denim in one of my recent outfits. First off, let me apologize for the hiatus I've been on with my blog. I've been busy in the process of moving, working many hours at work, and just been getting things in order. It's actually been a bit stressful, but I've been managing. On to the outfit!
This day was actually a "Wear it Weekend", meaning, all workers are to wear the product of the weekend that is on sale. In this case, it was denim washed button ups. I decided to go with an ol' faithful, white crop top and black circle skirt. It turned out to be an extremely cute and very "me" outfit :)
I hope you like this outfit and stay tuned for the next Work Flow Outfit :) See you in the next one, xoxo.

Work Flow Outfit #17: Maxi Mint

I am obsessed with this outfit and although it is simple, the simplicity of it is what makes it much more gorgeous. I think it is safe to say that after I wore this outfit, I am always in either a maxi skirt or a skater skirt paired with a crop top. To bad my job doesn't allow the associates to wear denim shorts because I would also be in those all summer too :)
Skirts will do at work for now but all the other days that I'm out with friends, I will definitely be rocking many more different outfits. (wink! wink! Summer Outfits coming soon!)
I hope you like this outfit that I put together. Stay tuned for more and see you lovelies in the next one, xoxo

Outfit of the Day: Perfect Boys

This top says: "Perfect boys only exist in books." I purchased this top at Wet Seal because it perfectly reflects the series that I'm reading at the moment, [for the third time I might add; I love the series that much] of course I had to get it. To dress up this graphic tee, I decided to use a more feminine pair of shorts: beige high-waisted crochet shorts. The shorts add a more girly look to the plain black and white tee. To class the outfit up more, I used gold accessories. I hope you liked this outfit and I will see you lovelies in the next one, xoxo.

Work Flow Outfit #16: Spring Dress

I'm in love with dress. It is styled very similar to Brandy Melville dresses, except half the price. This dress is surprisingly very popular in smaller boutiques as well, the print and all. This is a great dress to wear on a hot summer day, out with the girls, having a little shopping time therapy. I hope you enjoyed this work flow outfit and I do apologize for that annoying water bottle in the photo >_< See you lovelies in the next one, xoxo.

Work Flow Outfit #15: Rose Romper

I've always had the same romper and never bothered to buy more because I always thought I looked weird in them. My weight didn't help either, so my confidence in them didn't really make me feel great wearing them. However, I've lost a lot of weight and wearing rompers look great on me.. no to sound cocky or anything. I feel more comfortable wearing them.
I decided to get this cute beige and rose romper from Wet Seal. I gravitated towards it immediately. I feel it works great with my skin tone and the roses are a great pop for brighting up a dull outfit. I hope you enjoyed another Work Flow Outfit and stay tuned for the next one.

School Flow Outfit #3: Mono-lax

I've been doing quite a lot of Work Flow Outfits that I haven't noticed that I only had two outfits up for my School Flow Outfits series. Well, I present to you my monochromatic-relax [Mono-lax] outfit I wore to school. I paired up a loose fitted crop top with my plain black high-waisted shorts. I tucked in my top because it was a large and so it fit a bit longer than an actually crop top should be.
This is a great example of an outfit that you could put together if you are rushing out the door. As well as an outfit that makes you look put together and fashionable, but it was effortless to put together. I hope you liked this outfit and maybe it helped you out a bit. See you in the next one :)

Yes, this outfit does look familiar, you may have seen something similar in Work Flow Outfit #6 and Work Flow Outfit #11.  Yet again I am sporting the crop top and circle skirt outfit. This time I threw on my blue, razor back, tribal crop top. What can I say? I'm all about the skater skirt and crop top trend :)
I'd like to personally say thank you to those of you who stop by on my blog and actually enjoy my series. See you beauties in the next one :)

Work Flow Outfit #13: Phite

[Phite: Purple and White; You see what I did there? haha]

Heres a work outfit that I also wore to school. I didn't actually have a shift that day but I decided to cover for another worker. My supervisor let my shorts pass for that day since I was closing. I've been liking the new "pajama shorts" tread. The patterns are very cute and fashionable, the material they come in are really soft, and they are just overall comfortable. Ultimately, I love the versatility of pajama shorts and I see it trending over to next season. What do you guys thing?
I hope you enjoyed yet another Work Flow Outfit. See you fashion lovers in the next one.

Work Flow Outfit #12: Asymmetrical Tribal

It's been a while since I've posted a work outfit. I just wanted to have a little bit of variety on my blog and put a hold on the series.
I had a morning shift so a cardigan was definitely in order in this outfit. It gets pretty chilly in the early morning in Hawaii. This asymmetrical skort is very similar to the Zara skort but definitely much more affordable. I love that I get to wear shorts, which isn't dress code for my job, but the fact that it appears to be a skirt as well is so versatile and I love it!
I hope you enjoyed another Work Flow Outfit and stay tuned for the next one.

Love from Hawaii, Jasmine Mae

Sephora Haul #1

I got a gift card from my grandma a few months ago and never had the time to actually look around Sephora. I had an opening shift today at work and decided to have a little bit of personal time afterwards. I walked around the mall and did a bit of shopping (clearly, as seen on my twitter here.) I stopped by The Body Shop, Sephora, and Victoria Secret. Surprisingly, I didn't find anything interesting at Forever 21. Any who, here are the items I finally decided to purchase at Sephora.
I say finally because I seriously wanted to buy every single item that my favorite beauty gurus on YouTube mentioned. First, let me just say how ecstatic I am to know that my Sephora finally holds Bobbi Brown items!!! Ekkkk, I seriously wanted to buy everything in her new Nectar and Nude collection. In the end, I decided to go with the Anastasia Brow Wiz and Kat Von D Tattot Liner because I needed a new brow product and I'm in search on the perfect eyeliner for me. But no worry, I definitely will be back for more products!
In the mean time, I hope you enjoyed this Sephora Haul and let me know if you want to see a review of any of the items. See you Beauties next time.

Manicure Monday #1

Welcome to a new series called Manicure Monday. I tend to change up the color of my nails every two weeks and I know that may seem like a long time, but that seems to work best for me. With this new series, it would be a great way to show you want new color I'm rocking for the next couple weeks.
This Monday, I decide to go with a nude and also new color to my collection. This nail varnish is by L'Oréal Collection Privée in Julianne's Nude. This collection comes in 5 other colors and this color best suits my skin tone. I was in search for a nude nail varnish and bought this at my local Walgreens. It only takes two coats for an amazing opaque color and it dries fairly quickly. I decided to add a little accent flower to my ring finger in honor of Spring and I loved how it turned out.
I hope you enjoyed this new series and see you Beauties for another Manicure Monday next time.

Drugstore Haul #4: Walgreens

Here is a two part haul from Walgreens. I've been watching a few of my favorite YouTubers March favorites and empties videos and it's struck my shopping senses. I made a list of the many things I wanted to try out and this past few weeks I've been purchasing them when ever I got the chance to go into Walgreens.

Pssssst! Instant Dry Shampoo: $4 - HeyClaire did a favorites video and featured this product. I've been wanting to try the Dove dry shampoo but I couldn't find it anywhere. In addition, I got the travel size instead of a full size because this would be the first time trying out dry shampoo on my hair. I want to do a trial before committing to the full size.

Maybelline Baby Skin: $6 - I have been searching for this ever since Nicole Guerriero featured it in an old Ulta haul video (view that video here), but every time I go into any drugstore it's sold out! I get so upset! Walking into Walgreens a few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to have the last one available.

Wet n Wild The Naked Truth Quad: $3 - I first saw this product on Nicole Guerriero's channel and once I saw the colors I've already declared that I needed to get it. Who denies a beautiful, pigmented, and affordable nude quad?

Maybelline Line Stilleto Eyeliner: $6 - I have been using the Milani Eyetech Extreme Eyeliner but I've been needing something new. I feel like the more recent Milani eyeliners I've been using have been drying out more quicker than they use to. So a new eyeliner was in order.

Clean & Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets: $4 - Just an essential in my makeup bag that I needed to get a new one of. If you want to see this product features in my Everyday Make Up Bag post click here.

Clean & Clear Foaming Facial Cleanser: $5 - A little TMI but I totally didn't know that my current night time facial wash was expired, eekkk. I haven't really gotten into the skin care routine until beginning of last year so I never bothered to check the the dates of the products I already had for a while. I tend to stay with C&C with my skin care, so I decided to give this product a try.

Clean & Clear Morning Burst facial Cleanser: $6 - My morning face wash however, I used up in time before it's expiration date, thank goodness.

I hope you enjoyed another beauty haul. I will be featuring a few of these product in future posts that I have planned. Let me know what else you'd like to see more of from this haul and I'll make a separate post for it. Stay tuned for a new series coming up in my next post and I hope all you book worms will like it :) See you Beauties next time ^_^

Drugstore Haul #3: I want nudes!

Recently, I went to the drug store located at the mall I work in. I went in to kill some time before work started and I was in need of some nude lippies. Here are the items on ended up purchasing.
Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss: Super Natural
Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain: Adore
NYC Intense Lip Color Twistable Crayon: Brooklyn Brown Stone
NYC Intense Lip Color Twistable Crayon: Riverside Rose
NYC Intense Lip Color Twistable Crayon: Ballroom Blush
Here are the swatched for the lippies that I purchased. I loved all the different shades of nudes that I purchased and I can't wait to rock them all. I am currently obsessing over riverside rose. If I ever posted an outfit or a face of the day on my other social networks, more than likey, riverside rose would be on my lips.

I hope you enjoyed this make up haul. I have another haul post on its way, stay tuned for that. I know I've been MIA for a while, but I've got a few post planned in the up coming week. Follow me on bloglovin' for updates and comment down below for any request or feedback as well. :)

What's in my everyday make up bag?

Today's post is a bit different from my usual outfit posts. I present to you what's in my current everyday make up bag. This make up bag, and everything in it, is always in what ever bag I'm using at that moment. Whether it's my school bag or my regular bag. It holds everything I need in case I need to touch up or put on a quick face for work.
First, my make up bag is from a thrift store. I found the patterns to be the very first feature to draw me in. After exploring it a bit, I learned that it is an old Ipsy bag. It's not to small, yet not to big, and it fits perfectly in my bags. It lays flat, so it lays thin and not bulky. That's great for me because it doesn't take up a lot of space in my bag, yet it holds everything I need.
Here are everything that I hold in my make up bag:

Sephora Mirror: I got this dual mirror in a gift card set from my one year anniversary with Nik. It has a normal mirror on the top and a more magnified mirror on the bottom. Having both comes in handy when I want to see my overall face or if I need a closer view to do my eyeliner.

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder (004: Sandstorm): I use this drug store pressed powder in my everyday face and keep it with me at all times to touch up throughout the day. I love how matte it makes my face, yet it lets my natural oils to surface just a little. Plus, who can beat the price of an amazing performing face powder.

Mac Hello Kitty Mini Face Brush: This face brush actually came from a set in Mac's holiday Hello Kitty brush set. I use it to apply my pressed powder throughout my face. The fact that it's a mini face brush makes it fit perfectly in my make up bag.

Maybelline Rocket Mascara: This mascara is my ultimate favorite. I'm not one for very voluminous eyelash, but rather more for length. Although this mascara does both, there is a certain way I apply it that it only lengthens my eyelashes extremely. The results are amazing and satisfying.

Eyelash Curler: Unfortunately, I don't remember where I got my eyelash curler from. What I do know is that it's an amazing curler and I'm satisfied with its performance.

Wet n Wild Lipstick (522A: Dark Wine): Although fall is over, I still like to rock the dark lip. I just apply it lightly to my lips and spread it over my lips with my finger. It goes on a little more pink than a wine color.

NYX Xtreme Shine Lip Cream (Nude Peach Fuzz): To tone down my wine lipstick even more, I add on this more pink toned lip cream. It's a perfect everyday combo for me, that is why I always keep the pair in my make up bag.

Nivea Lip Butter (Raspberry Rose Kiss): Definitely something to have with me to hydrate my lips whenever they get dry. One amazing feature I love about this lip butter is it's smell. It smells jut like raspberries. Plus it acts great as a base to my favorite lip combo.

Clean and Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets: Ladies, you know I need to have these in case my oily days go a little crazy. I also need to blot before I need to apply a touch up of my pressed powder.

Bobby Pins: For the days I need to pin back my crazy fringes.

I know this post is a bit of a read but I still hope that you all enjoyed it. It's something different and I've just been getting a lot of inspiration from other top bloggers; this happens to be one of them. If you want to see a post on my everyday look, featuring these items and others, please let me know in the comment section below. I'll see all of you Beauties in my next post ♡
