I was out for a quick trip to Target with Nicole and decided to dress up a little. The weather was really rainy, but I wanted to dress "spring like". I decided to wear high-waisted shorts and Chuck Taylor's for a casual look for spring. Then threw on a stripped blazer for a more classy look and for warmth as well. It was a quick put together outfit to be in while running some errands.

Drug Store Make Up Haul #1

Had dinner out and Long's Drug Store was in the area and I did a little shopping for myself. I seriously have a problem >_< I need to budget myself more. Hopefully I won't be doing anymore shopping from now on. Anyways, I've been watching a lot of Youtube gurus and learning a lot about make-up. I'm not completely clueless about cosmetics, but I don't use much on my face... just eyeliner, mascara, and an eyebrow shade. So I decided I really need to find a foundation. I have serious discoloration and I really want to cover up during days I'm dressed up and out and about. I decided to try the Maybelline Fit Me line. I'm not too sure about the match, so I've asked my mom to help me out. (I'll be doing a review in the future, stay tuned ^__^)

Maui Wowie Haul

I mention this before, but I went to Maui this past weekend. I know majority of these items can be bought here back home in Oahu, but I just had to get them. We went to 2 different malls, Queen Ka'ahumanu Center and The Maui Cannery Mall. They did have a Forever 21 and Pacsun there, but surprisingly enough I didn't find anything I wanted >_<. However, I did get a pair of slippers :)

Later that day we went out to Front Street, Lahina. It's like the Waikiki Strip of Maui. I got some Maui Lifeguard items because every time I try to find some at our local flee market, they never seem to have any in my size.. I had to get it :p I also found a Hurley shop and I had to go in. Here on Oahu you can find any Hurley item in any surf store, but I've always wanted to find a Hurley Shop. Awesomeness!

The next day, we headed over to The Cannery Mall. Long story short, I shopped a little :p My romper was actually only a penny (Buy one, Get one for a penny) Nicole finally got a dress and I got the romper. Then went to Jeans Warehouse and shopped the 50% off rack. The Cannery Mall was small so there weren't many choices. 

I spent a good amount up in Maui, but I thought to myself when will I have the time to go back to Maui again... not anytime soon thats for sure. Hamsa (Haul Pt. 2)

Hello Ladies :) Here is my second half of my haul before I left for Maui over the weekend. I purchased a lot of light colored clothing items because Spring is coming up and it is most preferred to use light colors to attract less heat. Also I purchased a lot of short sleeve / tank tops to be more cool for the spring and summer. 

I purchased a couple stickers at T&C Surf for my laptop. I was really excited to purchase the Hamsa Hand by Billabong, because since I've started watching BeautyCrush and RickyRichardsTV on Youtube, I've developed an obsession >_< I've been thinking of maybe getting it as my next tattoo, (Comment for a tattoo post.) Along with the hand, I also purchased a tribal eagle sticker. Tribal anything always wins me over, but surprisingly enough I hardly own any clothing items with tribal patterns.

Bath and Body Works (Haul Pt. 1)

I will be splitting up my haul in two different parts. I'm sorry that this is such a late update, but I got all these items before I left for Maui over the past weekend. My first half of my haul is from Bath and Body works, they were having a sale at the time. 2 for $22 for any 3 wick candles; original price $20 each. Along with any purchase of home products; candles, room sprays, etc., you get a free Market Peach candle from their Fresh Picked line. So in the end we got double deals in our entire purchase, AWESOME ^__^

During our time shopping, we had the chance to try out a lotion from the Fresh Picked Line. We choose to try Strawberries and it smelt incredible, exactly like fresh picked strawberries. The worker helping us out ended up give us a little sample to bring back home. 

Oh, I forgot to mention that we also got some air fresheners for the car as well. We got it in the scent Eucalyptus Mint. Anyways, that's it for my first half of my haul. More information below. I hope you enjoyed :)

Top 3 Lip Shades

Here are my top 3 drug store lip products. They are my go to lip shades when I want a matte or natural look on me. They appeal to my skin tone and last throughout the whole night. I love how they finish off my whole face and make my lips look plump. Although, they do stain my lips, like any other colored lip product, so I do have to conceal my lips first.

I wasn't the type to use lipstick, ever, but I've always wanted to try a red lip with my make up. A red lipstick with no shimmer or glossy finish. I then found my first matte lip product and I instantly fell in love with it. Since then, I've been trying to add to my collection. However, I prefer to buy lip products that moisturize my lips, don't fade off throughout the day, and give me a matte/natural look to my makeup.

Fierce and Edgy Haul

Here is an old haul from February that I've forgotten to uploaded on to my blog. I got a few things that were on sale. I'm not exactly sure when I got these items, but I consider them some lucky finds. I think my favorite purchase would be my combat boots. I've always wanted to own a pair but they were always expensive. I went into Pac Sun on this day and they were having a, I believe, 50% off sale on the entire store. I remembered that they had combat boots on sale already for only 10%. I found these, in my size, and they were the LAST ONES ^__^ I actually raced towards them with another girl and I got to them first. :p (Original price & discount info below) Lastly, my current fashion trend favorites are anything with a feline on it or camo because its all part of the fall/spring look and the "edgy" look as well. I don't know, but I'm obsessed :)

2 Year Anniversary

Nicole and I are going to Maui for our 2 Year Anniversary and I'm so excited. Today, after my job interview, I was passing through the airport, on the bus, and I couldn't help but be overly excited for it :D. My only problem is packing. I don't know what outfits to bring, what shoes or sandals, what accessories, etc. I have so many ideas but I can only fit whatever I can in my carry ons. I think that may be the only thing I'm stressing over about for this trip. The problems of being a girl, right? lol :p
Anyways, I'll be trying to do some outfit post up there in Maui.. change of scenery, and even maybe a shopping haul when I get back as well. 10 more days and its nothing but me and Nicole <3

Off The Wall

"Plain Jane" is still my favorite way to dress up. Especially in Hawaii, with the heat, humidity, and crowds in the mall. I don't like to feel stuffy most of the time and a simple outfit like this is a great way to dress comfortably.

"Secret" Haul :p

Went out to Ala Moana with my family yesterday. I was planning to just buy the Victoria Secret under garments because they were on sale: 5 for $26, but my Mom combined her items with mines to get $75 as our amount to get the free VS Duffle bag (Bag Value: $99). This bag is perfect for my trip to Maui this month, I can't wait :) Any ways, I also bought some booties from The Slipper House. These are actually my first pair of booties and I love how they look on me. I didn't think they would match me or fit my style, that's why I was always hesitant on buying any for the Fall/Winter time but I was wrong :p Since they are out of season, they were on the clearance rack and I only got it for $12.. awesome deal right? I think they only purchase I reget not getting this day was my Godiva Dark Chocolate Shake, lol :D
